How long does a Hydrafacial take?

The Hydrafacial PLATINUM at REVEAL is tailored to your skin type with a personalised plan put in place.

Hydrafacial Platinums are a 90 minute treatment (including pre and post care).

PLATINUM treatments include skin booster selection and recommended add on PERK Eye and Lip Hydrafacial treatment.

What does a HydraFacial feel like ?

A Hydrafacial feels like it works! The cleanser and serums leave your skin feeling clean and soft before the mixture of glycolic and salicylic acids clear your skin of debris and excess oil. Here your skin will tingle a bit as you get all the benefits of a peel minus the post peel scaling.

The power vacuum based extraction compliments the peel and you can feel your pores being cleared of debris and congestion. There is a slight tug on your skin as the vacuum nozzle works over your skin. Powerful moisturizers, antioxidants, and peptides added in the final stages leave your skin glowing and feeling soft, gentle and even.

Will HydraFacial work for my skin type?

HydraFacial is gentle and kind to your unique skin, no matter your age or skin type. It is suitable for people with different sensitivities, troublesome or acne prone skin.  It can become a part of your regular skin care regime and also be used to address acne, rashes, sunburns, pigmentation or rosacea.

What areas can be treated by HydraFacial?

HydraFacial is most often used on the face, but it can be used on other areas of skin, including the back, neck, decolletage and hands. It is also suitable for any age and skin type.

What results can I expect and how many HydraFacial treatments will I need?

Your skin will look brighter, healthier and smoother after just one HydraFacial treatment. But regular monthly treatments are usually recommended to get the best results. At Reveal, we  will assess your skin type and build a treatment plan to help you achieve the results you are looking for.

What ADDITIONAL BENEFITS can HydraFacial offer?

Lymphatic Drainage

This massage based add-on stimulates your lymphatic system into action, clearing lymph vessels which act like a drainage system for your skin. With these vessels clear, your skin’s ability to undertake the natural processes of good skin health are restored.

LED Light Treatment

Blue LED lights directly inhibit bacteria which may cause acne spread or outbreaks in sensitive skin or skin with rosacea.

Red LED lights stimulate your skin’s collagen helping promote strong, healthy, and voluminous skin.

HydraFacial Aftercare

A personalised aftercare plan will be given to you after your treatment. This will be determined by your unique skin type and which type of HydraFacial you have had. We always advise you to protect your skin after a treatment with a minimum of SPF 50 sunscreen to avoid any sunburn or side effects.

Are there any side effects from HydraFacial?

The side effects of HydraFacials are very minimal. You may experience some redness and slight peeling, depending on your skin and which facial you’ve had. Other than that, HydraFacials are a natural, safe way of creating a healthy glow.

During your consultation,  we will personally go through with you any potential side affects you may experience and advise you accordingly.
